What is
Innovation Training?

Across Alberta, primary care is evolving and teams are being asked to adapt in real time.

That’s where InnovateHealth comes in.

InnovateHealth is an accredited, multi-session program designed to help you lead through change with confidence. It will help you build the skills to support the people side of change, while giving you hands-on tools to plan, implement, and sustain meaningful innovation across Alberta’s health system.

Funded through the Primary Care Innovation Fund, the program supports the goals of Modernizing Alberta’s Primary Health Care System (MAPS). It is available to Alberta primary care teams at no cost.

InnovateHealth is delivered by Praxus Health and Thought Architects.

FLEXIBLE COURSE DELIVERY

Explore the program.

InnovateHealth is offered both online and in-person, so you can participate in a way that works for you and your team.

All participants receive access to an online learning platform, called Mighty Networks, where you can:

→ Access course content and materials
→ Explore tools and resources
→ Connect with InnovateHealth participants from across Alberta

The program is organized into two parts—Leading People and Leading Innovation. Each series includes courses designed to support how you lead and implement change.
